From pixels to pieces

Early video games built enormous worlds from severe limits: a grid of pixels, a few buttons, and just enough motion to let imagination finish the scene. These models translate that digital language into a physical one. Flat sprites gain depth, controllers become brick-built objects, and movements once calculated by a console are recreated with gears, cranks, and cams.

Game Boy

2025 · 72046-1 · 421 pieces

The Game Boy is reconstructed at nearly full scale, down to its controls, cartridge slot, and interchangeable Super Mario Land and Link’s Awakening screens. It does not simulate electronic play; instead, it asks the physical object itself to carry the memory.

Super Mario World: Mario & Yoshi

2024 · 71438-1 · 1,215 pieces

Piranha Plant

OBJECT 04 · Super Mario

Piranha Plant

2023 · 71426-1 · 540 pieces

The Piranha Plant takes an enemy once defined by appearing and disappearing from a pipe and gives it sculptural presence. Its hinged jaws, leaves, and stalk preserve the character’s sense of poised movement.

OBJECT 05 · Super Mario

Mario Kart - Mario & Standard Kart

2025 · 72037-1 · 1,972 pieces

Mario Kart compresses a racing game into its essential partnership: driver, machine, and the exaggerated lean of a turn. The character is no longer controlled from outside the model; he is frozen in the act of racing.

OBJECT 06 · Super Mario

Mario Kart - Spiny Shell

2025 · 40787-1 · 234 pieces

The Spiny Shell is small, but its blue wings and spiked form carry an outsized reputation. Removed from the race, a moment of on-screen panic becomes a compact object of recognition.

Donkey Kong - Interior Type 1

OBJECT 07 · Super Mario

Donkey Kong - Interior Type 1

2023 · mar0163

Donkey Kong requires a body unlike the standard minifigure. His broad chest, long arms, and clenched hands show where character recognition matters more than preserving a familiar toy silhouette.

Diddy Kong

OBJECT 08 · Super Mario

Diddy Kong

2023 · mar0166

Diddy Kong completes a partnership built on contrast: smaller, quicker, and marked by cap and shirt. Beside Donkey Kong, scale itself becomes part of the characterization.
