Pirate Princess
The Pirate Princess is a useful contradiction in two words. LEGO Pirates traditionally divided its world into rough outlaws, imperial soldiers, governors, and civilians; this 2015 figure blurs those categories by combining aristocratic cues with the visual language of adventure. That makes her feel less like a background damsel and more like someone who belongs on deck. The figure also reflects a broader evolution in LEGO character design, especially in themes once dominated by male-coded roles. By the 2010s, historical-fantasy sets increasingly gave female characters occupations and agency inside the action. A pirate princess can be royal, rogue, negotiator, captive, captain—or all of them depending on the story built around her.
