Classic - Yellow Castle Knight Blue

This blue knight belongs to the 1978 Yellow Castle generation, right at the birth of the modern articulated minifigure. The famous castle was not yet populated by the named factions that would later define LEGO Castle; instead, brightly colored knights used simple helmets, shields, and heraldic symbols to create a medieval world from a still-young character system. The blue body is striking precisely because later Castle design became more naturalistic and faction-specific. Here, color does most of the storytelling. Displayed today, the figure feels almost abstract—a geometric medieval icon from the moment LEGO discovered that the new minifigure could populate not only towns, but entire historical-fantasy worlds.
