Skier

The Skier comes from 2010’s Series 2, when Collectible Minifigures were still proving that an entire product line could succeed by selling characters rather than vehicles or buildings. The figure uses poles, goggles, winter clothing, and skis to create a complete activity in one packet. That self-contained storytelling became the CMF formula: every bag was a tiny theme. Sports figures like the Skier also helped broaden LEGO’s human world beyond City occupations and fantasy roles. More than a decade later, the design feels relatively simple, but it captures the experimental energy of the collectible line’s earliest months.
