Steve Harrington

Steve Harrington is one of television’s great accidental reinventions. Introduced as a popular teenage boyfriend who could easily have remained a disposable obstacle, he evolves into monster fighter, unlikely babysitter, loyal friend, and emotional support system for younger characters. That journey is why a Steve minifigure means more than adding another face from Hawkins. He represents the show’s willingness to let characterization override first impressions. LEGO’s 2026 version finally gives collectors a standard minifigure of a character whose baseball bat, hair, sailor uniform, and exasperated caregiving have become almost as iconic as the supernatural creatures he keeps encountering.
