Blacktron Mutant

Series 26 was devoted entirely to space, and the Blacktron Mutant reaches back to one of LEGO's most beloved 1980s science-fiction factions while refusing to simply reproduce it. The familiar black-and-neon Blacktron language is twisted into something stranger: an altered, alien-looking figure that suggests what decades of forbidden experiments or deep-space exposure might have done to a classic villain. It is nostalgia used as raw material rather than a museum-piece reissue. The figure expands old lore through design alone, showing how vintage factions can feel contemporary without losing the visual DNA that made them recognizable.
