Jester

The Jester is medieval court entertainment turned into pure LEGO color theory. Split-color clothing, pointed cap, bells, and a theatrical expression make the figure instantly legible even without a castle set around it. Historically, jesters occupied an unusual social role: entertainers who could sometimes mock authority under the protection of performance. LEGO naturally emphasizes the comic costume rather than the politics, but the archetype remains richer than a simple clown. Released in 2014, this version also shows how Collectible Minifigures could revisit familiar Castle-era roles with printing and molding far more elaborate than classic medieval figures ever received.
