LEGOLAND / 1975

LEGOLAND - White Torso, White Legs, White Hat

MinifiguresOfficial LEGO

This all-white 1975–77 LEGOLAND figure strips the early LEGO person down to its essentials: cylindrical head, simple torso, legs, and hat, with no printed expression and almost no visual clues to a specific identity. These static figures were sometimes treated like background actors in model scenes—human scale markers rather than deeply characterized toys. Their limitations helped define what came next. When LEGO introduced the articulated minifigure in 1978, movable limbs, gripping hands, and a friendly face suddenly made tiny people active participants in play instead of scenery.
