Dwight Schrute

Dwight Schrute is visually perfect for minifigure-scale character comedy: mustard-colored shirts, conservative ties, parted hair, and an expression of absolute seriousness about things nobody else considers important. In The Office, his intensity collides with the mundane routines of a paper company, making him both workplace archetype and complete eccentric. His LEGO version comes from an Ideas set born through fan support, an appropriate route for a sitcom whose audience continued to grow through reruns and streaming long after its original broadcast. Dwight demonstrates how LEGO increasingly treats television spaces as collectible cultural landmarks.
