Vacation Batman

Vacation Batman is funny because Bruce Wayne’s secret identity has become almost irrelevant: even on holiday, he dresses as Batman. Swim gear, exposed chest, bat-logo details, and vacation accessories turn the famously grim vigilante into a tourist while preserving his self-importance. The LEGO Batman Movie built much of its comedy by treating Batman’s brand as a personality disorder—everything in his life becomes bat-themed, from vehicles to food to leisure. This 2017 Collectible Minifigure may be a gag variant, but it also captures why LEGO’s version of Batman works so well: the iconic silhouette is strong enough to survive complete tonal absurdity.
