Boxer

The Series 5 Boxer turns the minifigure into a compact sports caricature: gloves replace ordinary hands, a championship-ready expression adds attitude, and athletic printing communicates a whole profession without a playset around it. Collectible Minifigures gave designers freedom to lavish detail on one character at a time, and sports archetypes benefited enormously from that focus. Unlike LEGO's earlier Basketball line, which altered the figure mechanically to play a tabletop game, this boxer remains a standard minifigure. The sport is conveyed entirely through costume, equipment, and pose—the minifigure as visual storytelling rather than mechanism.
