Classic - Knights Tournament Knight Black, Red Legs with Black Hips, Light Gray Helmet, Black Visor

This black Tournament Knight dates to LEGO Castle's first years, when even a change in leg or helmet color could create a new contestant for a medieval joust. The simple smile and unprinted body are reminders that the modern language of armor printing, dual-molded limbs, and unique faces did not yet exist. Instead, LEGO relied on physical accessories and strong color blocking. The result feels almost heraldic: less a specific person than an archetype. It is a foundational example of how the new 1978 minifigure quickly became a reusable actor in historical fantasy.
