Samurai X (Nya) - Legacy

Samurai X was one of NINJAGO’s earliest major identity reveals. Before Nya became established as the Water Ninja, she built armor and machinery and entered the fight under a concealed samurai persona, refusing to remain merely ‘Kai’s sister.’ That history makes a Legacy Samurai X figure more than a costume revival. It preserves a stage in Nya’s evolution when technical skill, secrecy, and self-made equipment were the route by which she claimed a heroic role. The design also broadened NINJAGO’s visual world beyond ninja robes. Samurai armor, mechanical vehicles, and a mystery identity gave the theme another vocabulary for heroism—and gave Nya agency before elemental power defined her.
