Lord Farquaad

Lord Farquaad is a villain built around exaggerated control. He wants Duloc perfectly ordered, fairy-tale creatures expelled, a princess acquired to legitimize his rule, and every messy edge of the world removed. His immaculate red-and-black court costume contrasts with the swampy disorder represented by Shrek. LEGO’s 2026 figure also has to preserve one of the character’s central visual jokes: Farquaad’s very short stature paired with monumental ego and theatrical presentation. In minifigure scale, that proportion becomes a design challenge and a comedy opportunity. He is authoritarian fairy-tale bureaucracy reduced to a few precisely chosen plastic shapes.
