Zombie Cheerleader

Series 14 was the Collectible Minifigure line’s full embrace of Halloween, and the Zombie Cheerleader perfectly captures its mash-up logic. A familiar school-spirit archetype is run through classic zombie cinema: torn uniform, gray-green decay, vacant expression, and pom-poms that somehow survive the apocalypse. The humor comes from two incompatible forms of enthusiasm colliding—cheerleading’s forced energy and the slow deadness of a zombie. Released in 2015, the figure also demonstrates how CMFs can remix LEGO’s own character history. Once a basic occupation exists, it can be reinterpreted as monster, costume, historical version, or parody.
