Pizza Costume Guy

Pizza Costume Guy is a wearable billboard rendered as a minifigure. The giant wedge of cheese, pepperoni, and olives transforms a person into the product he is presumably advertising, continuing LEGO’s long-running fascination with mascot costumes. The design is clever because a slice of pizza is not remotely human-shaped, yet one specialized shell lets it sit naturally over the standard torso. Series 19 released him in 2019, by which point food-costume figures had become a collectible subgenre of their own. He is part comedy, part retail culture, and part demonstration of how far the minifigure silhouette can be stretched without breaking.
