Walt Disney

A Walt Disney minifigure is unusual because the Disney name normally appears on the box, not inside it. Released in 2023 for Disney’s centennial, the figure represents the real producer and entrepreneur whose studio helped shape twentieth-century animation, theme parks, television, and global character merchandising. LEGO placed him in the Tribute Camera set alongside artifacts of filmmaking, turning the founder himself into part of a display about media creation. The result is also delightfully self-referential: a company famous for transforming drawings into cultural icons is represented by another company famous for transforming ideas into standardized plastic pieces.
