Commander Praji

Commander Praji is an extraordinarily deep-cut choice for a LEGO Star Wars minifigure. He appears near the beginning of A New Hope as the Imperial officer who reports to Darth Vader aboard the captured Tantive IV—hardly a headline character, but part of one of cinema’s most famous opening sequences. His 2024 figure demonstrates how mature the LEGO Star Wars catalog has become. After decades of Lukes, Vaders, and stormtroopers, the collection can now reach into named background officers who help make the Empire feel like an actual institution. Praji is essentially world-building through military bureaucracy, preserved in plastic.
