Classic Space - Bright Light Blue with Air Tanks

This bright-light-blue astronaut is not a survivor from the original Classic Space era but a modern expansion of it. LEGO has repeatedly returned to the planet-and-rocket emblem, adding suit colors that never existed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. That makes the figure a kind of retroactive history: unmistakably faithful to the old design language while extending the astronaut corps for a new generation of collectors. The appeal says something remarkable about Classic Space—its simple emblem, helmet, air tanks, and smile remain legible as 'LEGO space' decades after the original sets disappeared from shelves.
