Newt Scamander

Newt Scamander’s Collectible Minifigure carries an extraordinary amount of story in its accessories: the travel-worn coat of a field naturalist, his suitcase, and the Niffler associated with the magical creatures he studies and protects. Unlike many wizarding protagonists, Newt’s defining skill is not dueling but observation, care, and knowledge of other species. His inclusion in the 2018 Harry Potter CMF series also formally connected Fantastic Beasts to the larger LEGO wizarding collection. The figure represents the franchise moving away from Hogwarts and into an earlier, more international magical world organized around creatures, travel, and adult professional life.
