Chell

Chell’s arrival in LEGO Dimensions was remarkable because Portal is a puzzle game built around spatial reasoning rather than traditional combat. The portal gun does not destroy obstacles; it rewrites the relationship between two surfaces, forcing players to think about momentum, geometry, and impossible routes through test chambers. That logic translates almost suspiciously well to LEGO, a system already built around rearranging space. The 2015 minifigure also brought one of gaming’s most distinctive silent protagonists into a crossover where Batman, Gandalf, Scooby-Doo, and dozens of other franchises could physically meet. Dimensions briefly turned the toy box itself into the premise—and Chell was one of its smartest fits.
