Zeff

Zeff is chef, pirate veteran, mentor, and surrogate father to Sanji. His story links food to survival in the most literal way: after being stranded with Sanji, the former pirate sacrifices enormously to keep the boy alive, later building the Baratie restaurant and teaching him both cooking and combat. The tall chef’s hat and distinctive appearance make Zeff immediately readable in LEGO form, but the deeper significance is cultural. One Piece treats feeding people as a moral act, and Sanji’s entire code grows from Zeff’s example. This minifigure represents the person who turns a starving child into the Straw Hats’ fiercely principled cook.
