Carrot Mascot

The Carrot Mascot belongs to one of the Collectible Minifigure line’s strangest and most beloved traditions: adults willingly dressed as enormous food. The oversized carrot shell transforms an ordinary figure into a walking vegetable advertisement, joining a growing lineage of banana, corn, chili, watermelon, pea, and other costume characters. These figures are valuable design experiments because the costume piece must read instantly as an object while still accommodating a minifigure inside it. Released in 2023, the carrot is both ridiculous and technically elegant—a reminder that LEGO’s standardized human form can become almost anything with one clever outer shell.
