Buggy the Clown

Buggy the Clown embodies One Piece's gift for combining menace with absurdity. A pirate captain with theatrical clown imagery and the power to separate his body into independently moving pieces, he is almost comically well suited to LEGO—a medium in which bodies literally come apart at their joints. LEGO's One Piece line launched in 2025 based on the Netflix live-action series, bringing another major global adventure franchise into brick form. Buggy's exaggerated face and costume show how far licensed minifigures can push color and character while remaining unmistakably part of the standard system.
