Classic - Yellow Castle Knight Black Cavalry

This black-cavalry knight is an artifact from the moment LEGO first discovered how naturally the minifigure fit medieval storytelling. The early Castle range did not yet rely on named characters or dense lore; dramatic contrast came from simple colors, shields, weapons, horses, and the imposing geometry of the yellow castle itself. Black equipment gave this knight a particularly stark silhouette, but his allegiance remained wonderfully undefined. That ambiguity captures early LEGO play at its best: the pieces suggested a story without dictating one.
