Gunther

Gunther is proof that a supporting character can become inseparable from a place. As the manager and barista of Central Perk, he is woven into the coffeehouse almost as thoroughly as the orange couch, often watching the six friends from behind the counter while nursing his hopeless affection for Rachel. Including him in LEGO Ideas' Central Perk set rewards viewers who know the world beyond the main cast. It also reflects a broader change in licensed sets: once LEGO began designing for adult fans and display, completeness of atmosphere could matter as much as including the headline characters.
