Dragon

Dragon stretches the very idea of a Collectible Minifigure. In Shrek, she begins as the terrifying guardian of Fiona's tower before becoming a comic and romantic character in her own right. Her scale and anatomy obviously cannot fit the normal human minifigure template, so LEGO must translate the character through specialized creature geometry while keeping her compatible with the display format. That makes Dragon especially interesting as an object: the 'minifigure' category has expanded so far that it can now comfortably include humans, robots, monsters, babies, costumed fans, and a large fairy-tale dragon.
