Knight of the Yellow Castle

The Knight of the Yellow Castle, released in Collectible Minifigures Series 23 in 2022, is a love letter to LEGO Castle's beginnings. Rather than simply reproducing a 1970s knight, the design translates the original yellow-castle aesthetic through modern printing, accessories, and minifigure detail. It lets two eras coexist in one figure: the bold colors and heraldic simplicity of early Castle with the technical sophistication of contemporary production. For longtime fans, the reference is immediate; for newer builders, it turns LEGO history itself into a character that can step into a modern display.
