Newt Scamander - Dark Blue Trench Coat, Dark Tan Vest

Newt Scamander is a wizard defined less by dueling than by observation, care, and a suitcase full of creatures. His dark-blue coat and layered vest place this 2016 figure in the 1920s setting of Fantastic Beasts, visually separating him from the school robes that dominated earlier LEGO Wizarding World characters. Released through LEGO Dimensions, Newt also entered a peculiar transmedia experiment: a physical minifigure placed on a toy tag could unlock a digital character inside a crossover video game. The object therefore exists simultaneously as LEGO figure, licensed film merchandise, and game peripheral—an excellent artifact of the mid-2010s ‘toys-to-life’ era.
