The Architect of Hogwarts

The Architect of Hogwarts is not a speaking character but a piece of the castle’s invented history: the statue of the wizard traditionally credited with designing Hogwarts. LEGO included him in the 2023 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds display, where a tiny human figure becomes part of an architectural model rather than a scene of character play. That is fitting. The minifigure represents the fictional maker of the building while sitting inside LEGO’s own carefully designed reconstruction of it—a designer embedded inside another designer’s design. It is a wonderfully self-aware museum object for anyone interested in how fictional architecture becomes physical LEGO architecture.
