Dobby

Dobby’s 2018 Collectible Minifigure treats the house-elf as a central character rather than a side accessory. His oversized ears, enormous eyes, and tiny body break the standard human minifigure silhouette, while the simple cloth-like clothing recalls the servitude from which he eventually frees himself. Dobby’s arc gives the series one of its clearest stories about agency: introduced as a servant who punishes himself for disobedience, he becomes an independent person who chooses his work, his loyalties, and ultimately his sacrifice. The figure’s small scale makes the emotional size of that journey feel even more striking.
