Horse Knight Spearman

Released in 2025, the Horse Knight Spearman shows how modern LEGO Castle can feel historically familiar while using far more sophisticated minifigure decoration. The white surcoat carries horse heraldry, chain mail appears at the collar, the legs continue the tunic and belt design, and a nasal helmet gives the figure a distinctly medieval silhouette. Compare him with a 1979 tournament knight and the evolution is enormous—but the underlying body geometry is essentially unchanged. That continuity is one of LEGO's quiet triumphs: generations of detail have accumulated without breaking the original minifigure system.
