Fozzie Bear

Fozzie Bear is the Muppets’ eternally struggling stand-up comic, armed with terrible jokes, relentless optimism, and the cry of ‘Wocka Wocka!’ His humor depends less on actually being funny than on how desperately he wants to entertain, especially while Statler and Waldorf tear him apart from the balcony. LEGO’s 2022 figure uses a specialized bear head rather than trying to force the puppet into a human face, preserving the fuzzy brow, hat, and open-mouthed warmth of the original. Fozzie is a lovely example of a minifigure adapting not an actor or drawing, but the visual language of a physical puppet.
