Baymax

Baymax is a healthcare companion robot whose defining quality is not strength but care. Big Hero 6 builds much of its emotional power around that contrast: Baymax's soft, inflatable body and gentle medical programming coexist with superhero hardware and spectacular action. LEGO faced an unusual adaptation problem because the character's appeal depends on proportions far rounder and larger than a standard minifigure. The resulting specialized body preserves his simple white silhouette and tiny facial line. Released for Disney's 100th anniversary, Baymax represents a newer generation of Disney characters whose heroism is explicitly rooted in empathy.
