Horace Slughorn - Armchair

This may be one of the cleverest 'minifigures' in the Harry Potter catalog because it represents Professor Horace Slughorn while he is pretending to be furniture. When Dumbledore and Harry find him in Half-Blood Prince, Slughorn has magically transformed himself into an armchair to hide from unwelcome visitors. LEGO recreates the gag as a multi-piece figure-object rather than a conventional person. It is a perfect example of brick-built storytelling: the character's identity is encoded in the transformation, and the construction system becomes part of the joke rather than merely a way to model it.
