Lieutenant Commander Data

Data is the android officer whose search to understand humanity became one of Star Trek: The Next Generation's defining ideas. His pale synthetic complexion, gold Starfleet uniform, and precise appearance make him an ideal test of character recognition at minifigure scale. More historically important, he arrived in the first official LEGO Star Trek set, the Enterprise-D, bringing a franchise that had spent nearly sixty years inspiring generations of science-fiction fans into the LEGO system at last. Data therefore represents two kinds of exploration at once: the character's study of humanity and LEGO's first journey into the Star Trek universe.
