Clone Trooper, 187th Legion (Phase 2) - Nougat Head

The purple-marked 187th Legion has an unusual history at the boundary between Star Wars storytelling, merchandise, and fan classification. Purple clone troops have been associated with Mace Windu across licensed material, and LEGO’s 2022 figure gave that color scheme a highly visible modern form even though the unit’s exact canonical status and depiction have shifted across sources. That ambiguity is part of its collecting interest. Not every Star Wars minifigure simply reproduces a famous film costume; some preserve the broader ecosystem of designs created through games, reference material, toys, and expanded media. The 187th trooper is a soldier with merchandising history as interesting as his fictional one.
