Coast Guard 1 - Red Legs, Blue Cap, Sunglasses, Life Jacket

This 1996 figure represents Coast Guard 1. The catalog description—Red Legs, Blue Cap, Sunglasses, Life Jacket—shows how much of the identity is carried by color, costume, and small molded or printed differences. Town figures show how LEGO represented ordinary life before named characters became the norm: profession, color, and a few printed cues did most of the storytelling.
