Master of Ice (Hibernus)

Hibernus expands the history of Ice beyond Zane, one of NINJAGO’s most famous characters. That is significant because elemental powers in the series are inherited, transferred, and embedded in family and historical relationships; they are not merely superhero abilities assigned for toy variety. By giving Ice another named master, the story makes Zane part of a lineage rather than the sole definition of the element. The 2026 figure therefore works especially well in a museum context. It turns a familiar color-and-power combination into evidence of world-building: the mythology keeps revealing that the heroes inherited systems and conflicts that existed long before them.
