Professor Gilderoy Lockhart - Nougat Torso and Legs

Gilderoy Lockhart is a celebrity wizard built almost entirely from branding. His books, portraits, immaculate clothes, and practiced smile advertise heroic adventures that he actually stole from more capable witches and wizards before erasing their memories. LEGO’s richly colored Lockhart figures are therefore perfect translations of the character: the costume is supposed to be more impressive than the man inside it. He is also a comic study in fame inside the wizarding world, showing that magical society has its own publishers, celebrity culture, merchandising, vanity, and fraud. Few characters make elaborate printing feel more narratively appropriate.
