Spacewalking Astronaut

The Spacewalking Astronaut represents a very different kind of LEGO space fantasy from Classic Space. Instead of a colorful retro-future uniform, the figure leans toward the layered life-support equipment and bulky silhouette associated with real extravehicular activity. That contrast is what makes Series 26 so interesting: it celebrates 'space' as a broad cultural idea, from plausible exploration to aliens, robots, and deep-cut LEGO nostalgia. This astronaut sits near the realistic end of that spectrum, reminding us that LEGO space has always lived somewhere between actual aerospace engineering and the limitless future imagined by children.
