Centaur - Quiver

The centaurs of the Forbidden Forest resist the simple category of ‘magical creature.’ They have their own society, knowledge, pride, astronomy, and deep suspicion of wizard interference. Adding a quiver emphasizes their independence and martial capability while the specialized horse body pushes LEGO well beyond ordinary minifigure anatomy. The result is a hybrid in both fiction and design: human torso connected to a brick-compatible equine form. Centaurs are especially interesting museum objects because they show the LEGO system adapting itself around mythology rather than forcing mythology entirely into the standard two-legged minifigure silhouette.
