Bionicle Cosplayer

This 2026 Collectible Minifigure is a remarkable collision of two LEGO cultures. The character is not literally the biomechanical hero Tahu; it is a minifigure fan dressed as Tahu, the fire Toa who became one of BIONICLE's defining faces in 2001. That distinction makes the figure delightfully meta. BIONICLE originally used Technic-derived construction rather than standard minifigures, so translating Tahu into a wearable minifigure costume bridges two systems that once occupied very different corners of the LEGO world. It is nostalgia presented not as a remake, but as fandom inside the toy itself.
