Sorting Hat
SetsOfficial LEGO
This is where LEGO Harry Potter began. LEGO identifies 4701 Sorting Hat as the first set ever released for the theme in 2001. Its rotating disk lets Harry be sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses, turning the film’s ceremony into a simple playable mechanism—and beginning a building tradition that has continued for decades.
