Ghost with 1 x 2 Plate and 1 x 2 Brick as Legs
MinifiguresOfficial LEGO
Before LEGO created highly specialized translucent spirits and molded supernatural creatures, a ghost could be assembled from ordinary geometric parts. This classic figure uses a minifigure upper body over a 1×2 plate and brick instead of normal legs, producing the square-bottomed floating silhouette remembered from vintage Castle sets. The construction is wonderfully LEGO: the illusion does not hide the system—it celebrates it. Rather than sculpting a complete ghost as one toy, designers used existing bricks to suggest something supernatural, proving that even a character could remain visibly built from the same language as the castle around it.
