Darth Vader (Light Nougat Head, Plain Arms)

Darth Vader may be the ultimate test of licensed minifigure design: almost nothing about his screen silhouette resembles a normal LEGO person, yet helmet, chest panel, cape, and black armor make him instantly recognizable at this scale. This 2017-era version represents the mature modern Vader before later releases added increasingly elaborate arm printing and refinements. The light-nougat face beneath the helmet matters just as much as the armor. Removing the iconic mask reveals not a monster but the damaged Anakin Skywalker, allowing the minifigure’s removable headgear to reproduce one of Star Wars’ central visual ideas—the person trapped inside the symbol.
