Pirate Red / Black Stripes Shirt, Black Legs, Blue Bandana

This pirate uses one of the theme's most effective visual tricks: a striped sailor's shirt turned into instant outlaw costume. The red-and-black pattern, blue bandana, and rough seafaring look place the figure far from the neat uniforms of Imperial troops and Classic Town citizens. Pirates was one of the first LEGO themes to make that contrast central to storytelling. Crews looked intentionally mismatched, colorful, and unruly, allowing individual figures to suggest personalities even without official names. The result helped move LEGO minifigures from generic roles toward ensembles of recognizable characters.
