The Lady of Pain

The Lady of Pain is one of Dungeons & Dragons’ most deliberately mysterious figures, the silent ruler and guardian of Sigil, the City of Doors. She is not intended as a conventional boss to defeat or deity to worship; her unknowable motives and bladed mask are part of the setting’s mythology. LEGO’s 2024 figure therefore had an unusual task: turn a character defined by distance and strangeness into something that can be held in a hand. The specialized spiked mask and layered robes succeed by preserving silhouette over facial personality. She brings one of tabletop gaming’s most enigmatic icons into minifigure scale.
