Jay ZX - Legacy

Jay’s ZX appearance belongs to the period when NINJAGO began turning its ninja into a team of visually distinct specialists rather than four nearly identical figures in different colors. Blue armor, wrapped headgear, and weapon-ready shoulder elements made the 2012 designs feel more tactical and more character-driven. This 2026 Legacy recreation treats that once-routine upgrade as history worth revisiting. Jay is especially fitting for the exercise because his personality—fast-talking, inventive, anxious, and funny—helped prove early that NINJAGO could sustain character comedy alongside action. The figure preserves the costume of an era when that long-term storytelling formula was still being invented.
