Koby

Koby begins One Piece as a frightened cabin boy trapped under Alvida and dreaming of joining the Marines. What makes him compelling is that the dream survives contact with Luffy, who becomes his friend despite representing the opposite side of the law. Across the story Koby grows from timid bystander into a disciplined Marine officer willing to challenge unjust orders. LEGO’s 2025 figure catches the character within that larger theme: courage is not an inborn class but something practiced. Displayed beside Garp and the Straw Hats, Koby turns the collection into a map of competing definitions of justice rather than a simple pirates-versus-Marines conflict.
